September is here and Fall will be here in just 22 days ( waiting patiently for some fall cool vibes)..Its Back to school and back to September time ! Unfortunately, Covid still hasn’t subsided so we gotta stay masked up and social distanced… y’all.

Labor day is coming on September 7th ( Happy Birthday to my neph Isaiah) and its a time to at least not be at work and chill out for a day.

• Reading and reviewing  “Untamed” by Glennon Doyle and doing weekly reviews via podcast episode on the Wanda Jefferson Podcast BRAND NEW REVIEW STRATEGY (postings will be on my Instagram, Facebook, and LinkedIN pages starting September 12th – October 3rd also a separate blog post will be posted for the book with a reading and review schedule by 9/6)
• Reading and reviewing one additional book called “ The War of Art ”by Steven Pressfield ( review posting September 15th via podcast episode on the Wanda Jefferson Podcast BRAND NEW REVIEW STRATEGY also a separate blog post will be posted for the book with a reading and review schedule by 9/6)

This month is my beautiful, intelligent, spiritually grounded daughters birthday. Denasha, I love you more than words could ever say…HAPPY BIRTHDAY LOVE. Y’all…she is an excellent daughter, avid student, faithful prayer warrior and dynamic sister. June is here and Summer  is upon us (in about 20 days to be factual). I got a feeling it’s going to be extra hot and super strange with Covid still going on.

Along with the challenges of the virus are the many protests happening around our nation because even during a pandemic racism doesn’t take a break. My love, heart, prayers, sympathies and condolences go out to every family who has lost a family member, friend, or loved one to racism or violence of any kind. Black Lives Matter and explaining these details to my children while we watched the horrors unfold in the videos that surfaced on social media definitely was not an easy task. The children and I are praying for one and all including ourselves…please pray for us also…as a Black family and complying with social distancing we are on double alert. #justiceforallblackliveslost

 

Hey June….Be good to us…we need this month to be better than the other 5 were.

( Father’s Day )

Happy Father’s Day to all Dads taking care of their children day in and day out. Blessings to all the Dads in Heaven, who paved the way for us all to be who we are today. And God bless all the Dads to be, don’t worry you will do just fine in Jesus name.

Happy Fathers day to my dad in Heaven…He is dearly and truly missed every single day. Now my son named after him is a new dad (Happy 1st Fathers day to my oldest son) and I hope and pray that he follows in the goodness of your footsteps as he does your looks ( and so does my granddaughter with me huh…I just noticed the comparison after posting the pics….WOW DO Y’ALL SEE THAT ??? )

 

( Men’s Health Awareness Month)

Men you are important and your health is also. Exercise, eating good whole foods, getting regular checkups and screenings plus spiritually staying connected to God… daily, will keep you well. My men readers, know that your health is a priority, your needed, and you being well is nothing to play with or put off….(Special Note: In speaking of Men’s health I think its important to note that this month is Alzheimer’s and Brain Awareness month as well. ) The children and I are praying for you no matter what …please keep us in your prayers in Jesus name as well.

April showers are bringing in May flowers. “Spring”  goes all in for May and beautifully blankets those of our lawns who are in this season. Truly my hearts desire is for the pandemic to subside and for us to be able to enjoy this time before Summer hits and blasts us all with heat beyond our imagination.

I’m ‘Springin’ into the blessing in April.

“Spring” is here and honestly, I am loving the rain ( we even got some snow) the cleaning and looking forward to the newness of flowers (and greenery) that will soon cover my lawn.

Although, this April is different because of the pandemic, it is the same in the sense of us always observing the blessings, plus being grateful and thankful for the blood of Jesus that covers us daily .
