It’s a very special day ! My big boy is now 9 years old !!!! HAPPY BIRTHDAY RONALD !!!

He is not only my special guest and co host on the “Verse of the day” Ministry but he is an awesome young entrepreneur, writer, reader, gamer, you-tuber and 3rd grader !

I must say he has grown to be such a delightful, funny, handsome young man who makes everyone smile and touches every person he meets with his awesome attitude and zest for life !

As a single mom, who loves her children and the Lord, it can be difficult supporting them on your own but Ronald’s heart of goodness and love of God makes my days easier and keeps me encouraged no matter what.

Good Morning & Happy Monday !!!

I pray each and every one of you had a wonderful weekend. I also pray that each and every one of you has a blessed and glorious rest of your week.

As for the children and I, our weekend was great. We slept in on Saturday because we all just got back into the school swing but we also got our movie time on as well so that we could unwind. Yesterday, we praised the Lord and then enjoyed WWE and all of its glory ( We love the New Day and Roman Reigns).

 

This week, we are focusing on prayer, school work and I, on work in general. I have a lot of things that will be coming up for October, November and December so this month is crucial in getting finances and the foundation of all projects done.

With that being said…..

As you all know, my mom is in Heaven. Her birthday was the 16th and she would have been 78. What you may not know, is that she has one Sister who has a birthday coming up this Thursday.

For one whole week, they would be the same age because they are exactly 1 year and 7 days apart-meaning right now my Aunt is the same age my mom would have been and turns one year older this Thursday.

What you also may not know, is that I have been estranged from my Aunt, since I was a little girl and just this year as I rededicated myself to the Lord, I called her up and reconciled. She and my Uncle are the only direct connection to my mom that I have left alive and I wanted to make something special to commemorate that.

So to give honor to the Lord Jesus Christ and to my Aunt Grace I created this shirt. I wanted it to incorporate the word but also her name as she has been a born again Christian for as long as I can remember.

Hey Family,

I pray that as this post reaches you…all is well on your end.

Well…this week the children and I are on vacation… but even in the midst of that…you should all know that I am still doing the work of God. I started a *podcast that does the “Verse of the day” just as my videos would however it is more so a shortened version.

Also… I am preparing for the release of “Walking with God” on September 1 by making sure I have all the content I want included and edited… so stay tuned.

I also am focusing on really spending time with the kiddos and I am not one for really advertising my personal biz…I find that if you do not keep things personal they won’t be…so rather than exploring all the ins and outs of my vacay or taking pics and posting them I choose to do none of that…to stay humble…to stay prayerful and to even do some work lol…yeah life is becoming what God wants it to be for me and now I understand why he allowed me to be a person that can withdraw from the lime light….who can just be still and who can enjoy her own company while basking in her children’s laughter…because as I move up in him…. my flesh will not be the motivating factor in my success or failure…. but my spirit and the Holy Spirit along with Christ Jesus…will be.

God is most definitely good on this evening and I thank him for his grace, mercy, salvation, deliverance and joy on today. Let no one or nothing take away your praise or your joy for the Joy of the Lord is your strength!

Sometimes we say…why Lord?  to things we do not understand. I know I do but I am reminded that he is always on my side even when I am not even on my side…if that makes sense. I watched Lindsay Lohan one time say she would sabotage herself knowingly and unknowingly and that never left me.

Watch how you treat yourself and how you allow others to treat you. Watch what you allow in your vessel and what you don’t. Use your spiritual eye and not just the naked eye when discerning those around you and be a blessing and not a curse to those you know and love.
