I hope all is well with you and yours ! Today is World Poetry Day ! Isn’t that awesome ??? It sure is !!!

Poetry has influenced my life in so many ways, from work, to love, to my own writing. My love for poetry started for me in 3rd grade. My earliest fond memories of poetry were from Shel Silverstein and Emily Dickinson. Of course later I would grow to adore Amiri Baraka, Laura Boss, Edgar Allen Poe, Maya Angelou, Allen Ginsberg and Gwendolyn Brooks. ( Many of whom I have met )

Today, I am a Poet myself and have three books available right now of poetry.

This is truly the day that the Lord has made…and I will rejoice and be glad in it !!!!! God is good everyone and we have not only made it to another day but yet to the month of March ( I cannot believe how this year is already flying by).
