I know many who start the new year have resolutions that are considerably similar each and every year. They want to lose weight, make more money, vacation, move or find new relationships, but the fact of the matter is that without a change of mindset, they will always just be unaccomplished resolutions.
In many prisons across the nation, the have a concept that is called “Behavior Modification” It basically means changing one’s mindset and behavior so that they can lead to a crime free/addiction free lifestyle. They see this as rewarding good behavior(with certain privileges) and punishing bad behavior (taking things away). All in all the goal is to retrain the mind so that it sees negative behavior as causing more grief than positivity.
With that being said changing our minds to do the right (positive) things for our lives should be our daily goal, not just a resolution…
